INVEST 96A Threatening off the Philippine Coast

Presently, there is a formation of tropical activity off the coast of the Philippines, now known as INVEST 96A located in the Indian Ocean. Below are two maps of the activity. Caused by this storm are floods which are presently occurring in southern Mindanao.  Allot of moisture and unstable air are combining to kick off the storms. There is also a new low pressure system that hasn't graduated into 'invest' status as of yet, but it seems to be developing out of China.

So far this year, this Western Pacific produced 2 tropical storms worth mentioning - Tropical Storm SONAMU and Tropical Depression TWO.  SONAMU produced winds up to 45 MPH and TWO produced winds only up to 25 MPH, but like the Atlantic Hurricane Season with just beginning as of June 1, activity from the Western Pacific will be heightened.
