Hurricane Joaquin Gaining Strength

Hurricane Joaquin appears to be heading through the Bahamas on Thursday, and should then turn northward to travel up the U.S. east coast if the computer models are right. Strength wise, it is now building up to a Category 4 storm. States as far south as South Carolina will receive allot of rain. This storm does appear to be traveling perpendicular to the east coast, heading North in the Atlantic. States up to and including the northeastern states are in the path of this storm. Wind gusts can reach as high as 100 MPH, along with the pounding surf, and flash flooding to be evident all the way.

Watch for track updates concerning Hurricane Joaquin.
